Ethical Concerns in the Era of the Opioid Crisis Training (6 CEUs)

Ethical Concerns in the Era of the Opioid Crisis Training explores the ethical issues that contributed to the development of a nationwide Opioid epidemic from multiple perspectives (medical, pharmaceutical, cultural, etc.). Participants apply ethical principles to issues including MAT in all of its various formulations, information sharing across programs as in a LEAD program, and other contemporary issues.  Reviews and updates regarding confidentiality laws (HIPAA and 42 CFR) are also be explored.
