E-Covid Training

About the E-COVID Training Series

These training events are funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) in partnership with New Mexico’s Human Services Department (HSD) for provider agencies providing services under the E-COVID grant awarded to the State of New Mexico. All provider agencies funded by E-COVID have access to training in evidence-based practices by Serna Solutions. Trainings are provided via Zoom and include topics such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, the Community Reinforcement Approach, and Medication Assisted Treatment.

The following is a list of approved agencies who can access these trainings:

  • First Nations Community HealthSource
  • Santo Domingo Health Center (Kewa Pueblo Health Corporation)
  • Desert View Family Counseling
  • Families and Youth Inc.
  • Serna Solutions

This is a 2-day training: April 21 & 22, 9:00am-4:00pm both days, as part of the e-COVID training series. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy or 'DBT' is a therapy that was originally created for difficult to manage mood and personality disorders.
