Working with Adolescents – Trauma and Substance Use

This training is designed for those working with youth ages 13-24 who might be struggling with mental health challenges or substance use or abuse. This course will provide an overview of adolescent development from a social, emotional, and neurological perspective. Participants will also be introduced to the evidence-based approaches of Adolescent- Community Reinforcement Approach (A-CRA) and Adolescent Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (A-DBT) A working camera and microphone are required for this training and the training will include a 1HR (MST) noon lunch break.
