The Basics of Trauma Informed Care

This workshop will provide participants with a solid understanding of how trauma impacts the developing nervous system, interlinks with addictions, mental health and attachment issues, and strategies for nervous system regulation that can assist clients/patients in managing symptoms. Newer perspectives on preparing clinicians and organizations for the shift from Trauma-Informed Care to Healing Centered Engagement. (6 CEUs)
