Dialectical Behavioral Therapy or ‘DBT’ is a therapy that was originally created for difficult-to-manage mood and personality disorders. It is now an evidence-based practice that assists clients with mood, personality, anxiety, addictive and trauma-related disorders. DBT provides clients with skills that promote emotional regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness. This training will provide participants with an overview to this approach and its different applications. (12 CEUs).
This is a 2-day training: Feb. 23 & 24, beginning at 9:00 a.m. each day.
