Chelsie offers a holistic therapeutic experience to assist people in healing and working toward connecting with their true nature. Her primary goal is to build strong therapeutic relationships by supporting clients in achieving their goals while they heal from issues that may be interfering with their personal growth. Chelsie brings creativity and depth into session while offering a blend of mindfulness and somatic based approaches. Chelsie’s authentic, warm-hearted style helps her clients to gain awareness and make positive changes in their lives.
Chelsie completed her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University in Alamosa, CO. Her approach to therapy is trauma-informed and she specializes in offering Somatic Breathwork, Brainspotting, and Mindfulness Based Somatic Emotional Processing (MBSEP). Chelsie utilizes several other theories in session including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt, and Internal Family Systems. She enjoys incorporating inner child work, movement, meditation, sand tray, and art practices into sessions as well. Chelsie typically works with adults who struggle with a low sense of self, stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, relationship dysfunction, and life adjustments. She is a USUI/Holy Fire® Reiki ll (Energy Healing) Certified Practitioner and a 200-Hour Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher.
In her downtime, Chelsie enjoys spending time with her partner, friends, and cat. She also enjoys meditating, practicing breath-work/yoga, creating art, playing games/sports, reading, hiking, backpacking, star gazing, and exploring the world around her.
