Lauren earned her dual Master’s degree in Art Therapy and Counseling from Southwestern College. She has experience working with individuals and families in a variety of wellness settings. As a therapist, Lauren takes a Person-Centered approach to facilitate growth in partnership with her clients. Practicing through an Existential lens, she believes in the power of helping people make meaning out of their lived experiences. Lauren is a curious and compassionate listener and models the gifts of vulnerability. Lauren has received training in DBT and Nature-based, Expressive Arts Therapy techniques.
Lauren has spent her entire life living under the expansive, western skies of Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico. Her background as a studio artist and art historian has informed her work as a counselor and art therapist. She is passionate about travel and exploring the great outdoors. Lauren finds solace in the company of loved ones, reading and writing poetry, and in the teachings of Celtic spirituality.
